Kunto Binawan

 

Kunto Binawan is based in Indonesia. Kunto has supported CCIF projects since 2006 in areas such as community development and microfinance. With more than 10 years of experience in the financial and banking industry, Mr. Binawan previously served as a project finance analyst in the development finance department of one of the leading commercial banks in Indonesia. He also played a significant role at the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency, in the Asset Management Credit in Loan Work Out division, where he was responsible for managing the debt restructuring process of several obligors, including one of IBRA’s top five obligors. Subsequently he served as senior manager at PT Amaco Asia, a distressed asset management and financial advisory firm, providing financial and business advisory services in the areas of corporate finance and business recovery.

 

He holds a Master Management degree with a focus in Financial Management from Prasetiya Mulya Business School, Jakarta and accomplished a BSc in Fishery from Bogor Agriculture University, Indonesia. In his spare time, he voluntarily participates in community-based project development by facilitating business plan preparation for several community organizations and NGOs’ social entrepreneurship initiatives.
